Seventh generation (XZ10, 2018 on)
The first ES sold in the UK, replacing the GS as Lexus's executive saloon. Built on the same platform as the Camry hybrid, with the 2.5 self-charging hybrid and front-wheel drive. Sold as ES 300h only, in a trim range from ES through F Sport to Takumi.
2021 facelift
Revised grille and lights, a touchscreen moved within easier reach, and updated safety assistance. Same hybrid system, same battery, so the checks we make are the same either side of the facelift.

How much do you actually pay for a Lexus ES?+
Trim, mileage and condition set the number, because every UK ES is the same 300h drivetrain. We sell into the same trade network that takes our Camry and Toyota hybrids, and the ES shares its platform and hybrid system with the Camry, so the same valuers price it by hand. Submit your reg for a firm offer within two hours in opening hours; it holds for at least 72 hours.
Is the ES just a Camry with a Lexus badge?+
No. They share a platform and the 2.5 hybrid system, which is why the checks we make are the same, but the ES is a longer, quieter, better-equipped car with its own trim structure. We price it as a Lexus.
My ES has done high motorway mileage. Does that hurt the offer?+
Not by itself. High mileage on a serviced executive saloon is normal ES life. What matters is evidence: service stamps, MOT history and an honest description. Declare it and the offer stands on collection day.
Do you buy an ES that is still on finance?+
Yes. We settle the finance directly with your lender on collection day and pay the balance to you. Tell us up-front and we do the maths together.
Is my ES compliant with clean-air zones?+
The UK ES has only ever been sold as the 300h petrol hybrid, which meets the standard the London ULEZ and the other UK clean-air zones apply to petrol cars. Check your exact registration on the zone's own checker before relying on it.

A valuer who knows Toyotas reads your submission and replies with a firm offer within 2 hours in opening hours. We do not run an instant quote tool: one Lexus ES with a full service history and another with a warning light on the dash are different cars, and only a person can tell them apart from your reg and your notes.
How long does the offer stand?+
For at least 72 hours, with the expiry date written on the offer so there is nothing to work out. Let it lapse and we simply price the Toyota again on that day's trade figures.
Do you collect, and does collection cost anything?+
Anywhere in the UK, at a time you pick, and collection is free when your offer includes it. If you are near Bethnal Green and would rather drive it to the office, bring it in and the handover happens there.
When and how do I get paid?+
Paid in full by bank transfer before your vehicle leaves. The Toyota is checked against what you told us, you accept, and the full amount is sent before anyone drives it away. Nothing is deducted for admin or anything else. The price holds if the vehicle is as described. Any change is explained first, and you can say no.
What do I need to have ready on the day?+
Your V5C logbook, in your name, plus photo ID, every key you have and your UK bank details. If the Toyota has a service book or Hybrid Health Check paperwork, have it to hand, and a finance settlement letter if money is still owing.
