Plug-in battery health
The NX 450h+ carries an 18.1 kWh battery with around 40 miles of official electric range. We ask how it has been charged and what range it shows today, and price the actual car, not the brochure.
Condition + history
A Lexus main dealer or specialist service history and a current MOT lift the offer. Family-SUV wear, scuffed boot sills, kerbed alloys, is normal and priced honestly.
High mileage is fine
The NX shares its hybrid system with the RAV4 and the batteries are proven well past 150,000 miles. Service history matters more than the clock.

First and second generation, and what each is worth.
First generation (AZ10, 2014 to 2021)
Lexus's first compact SUV, built on the RAV4 platform. Almost every UK car is the NX 300h: a 2.5 petrol self-charging hybrid, front- or all-wheel drive, with a nickel-metal hydride battery. A 2.0 turbo petrol (NX 200t, later badged NX 300) was sold in small numbers. Facelifted in 2017 with a new grille and infotainment.
Second generation (AZ20, 2021 on)
All-new on the platform shared with the current RAV4. NX 350h is the 2.5 self-charging hybrid with more power than the 300h it replaced, front- or all-wheel drive. NX 450h+ is Lexus's first plug-in hybrid: the same 2.5 engine with an 18.1 kWh lithium-ion battery and all-wheel drive.

How much do you actually pay for a Lexus NX?+
Generation, drivetrain, mileage and condition set the number. We sell into the same trade network that takes our Toyota hybrids, and the NX shares its platform and hybrid system with the RAV4, so the same valuers price it by hand. Submit your reg for a firm offer, usually the same day in opening hours; it holds for at least 72 hours.
Do you buy the NX 450h+ plug-in?+
Yes, and it is priced separately from the 350h for its larger battery and electric range. Tell us how it has been charged and the electric range it shows today; a plug-in that has been plugged in regularly is a better car and we price it that way.
Is a Lexus NX priced differently from a Toyota RAV4?+
Yes. They share a platform and hybrid system, but the NX is a different car with its own trim and specification, and we price it as a Lexus. What carries over is what we check: hybrid battery health, service history and honest condition.
My NX is the first-generation 300h with high mileage. Still interested?+
Yes. The 300h drivetrain is the same 2.5 hybrid family as the RAV4 and Camry hybrids and is proven well past 150,000 miles. A stamped service history and a current MOT matter more than the mileage.
Is my NX compliant with the London ULEZ?+
The NX has only been sold in the UK with petrol, petrol hybrid or plug-in hybrid engines, and the London ULEZ asks petrol cars to meet Euro 4, a standard every NX clears. Check your exact registration on the zone's own checker before relying on it.

How quickly will I hear back after I submit my reg?+
A valuer who knows Toyotas reads your submission and replies with a firm offer, usually the same day in opening hours. We do not run an instant quote tool: one Lexus NX with a full service history and another with a warning light on the dash are different cars, and only a person can tell them apart from your reg and your notes.
How long does the offer stand?+
For at least 72 hours, with the expiry date written on the offer so there is nothing to work out. Let it lapse and we simply price the Toyota again on that day's trade figures.
Do you collect, and does collection cost anything?+
Anywhere in the UK, at a time you pick, and collection is free when your offer includes it. If you are near Bethnal Green and would rather drive it to the office, bring it in and the handover happens there.
When and how do I get paid?+
Paid in full by bank transfer before your vehicle leaves. The Toyota is checked against what you told us, you accept, and the full amount is sent before anyone drives it away. Nothing is deducted for admin or anything else. The price holds if the vehicle is as described. Any change is explained first, and you can say no.
What do I need to have ready on the day?+
Your V5C logbook, in your name, plus photo ID, every key you have and your UK bank details. If the Toyota has a service book or Hybrid Health Check paperwork, have it to hand, and a finance settlement letter if money is still owing.
