First generation (AZ10, 2014 to 2021)
Lexus's first compact SUV, built on the RAV4 platform. Almost every UK car is the NX 300h: a 2.5 petrol self-charging hybrid, front- or all-wheel drive, with a nickel-metal hydride battery. A 2.0 turbo petrol (NX 200t, later badged NX 300) was sold in small numbers. Facelifted in 2017 with a new grille and infotainment.
Second generation (AZ20, 2021 on)
All-new on the platform shared with the current RAV4. NX 350h is the 2.5 self-charging hybrid with more power than the 300h it replaced, front- or all-wheel drive. NX 450h+ is Lexus's first plug-in hybrid: the same 2.5 engine with an 18.1 kWh lithium-ion battery and all-wheel drive.
