Generation + engine
IS 300h self-charging hybrid, or the petrol and diesel cars before it: IS 250 V6, IS 220d and IS 200d diesels, and the straight-six IS 200 and IS 300. The IS F is priced on its own merits. Declare which.
Lexus IS buyer
IS 300h, IS 250, IS 220d or IS 200, any age or mileage. The rear-drive Lexus saloon, priced by a Toyota group specialist. Offer in two hours, paid the same day.

The short answer
Generation and engine set the baseline. The third-generation IS 300h is the volume used car and is priced battery-health first, like every hybrid we buy; the second-generation IS 250 and IS 220d are priced on the trade and export demand that still exists for them; the IS F is priced on its own merits. From there it is condition and evidence: a stamped service history and a current MOT lift the offer, saloon wear is expected and priced fairly, and high mileage is fine because the 300h hybrid system is proven well past 150,000 miles. What we look for
IS 300h self-charging hybrid, or the petrol and diesel cars before it: IS 250 V6, IS 220d and IS 200d diesels, and the straight-six IS 200 and IS 300. The IS F is priced on its own merits. Declare which.
The IS 300h pairs a 2.5 petrol engine with a nickel-metal hydride battery and rear-wheel drive. Battery condition and a stamped hybrid health check matter more than mileage.
A Lexus main dealer or specialist service history and a current MOT lift the offer. F Sport trim, sunroof, Mark Levinson audio: tell us the spec and it is priced in.
The IS 300h hybrid system is the same family as the Camry and ES hybrids, proven well past 150,000 miles. On an older IS 250 or IS 220d, history and honest condition matter more than the clock.
Generation breakdown
The rear-drive IS 200 with a 2.0 straight-six, the IS 300 with a 3.0, and the IS 300 SportCross estate. Manual or automatic. An older car now, and clean examples still find buyers.
IS 250 with a 2.5 V6 petrol, IS 220d with a 2.2 diesel, and from 2010 the IS 200d. The IS F, a 5.0 V8, sat above them. The IS 250C convertible arrived in 2009.
The IS 300h: a 2.5 petrol self-charging hybrid, rear-wheel drive, the version most UK buyers chose. A turbocharged IS 200t, later badged IS 300, was sold alongside it. Facelifted in 2016. No longer sold new in the UK, so the used market is where the IS lives now.
Common questions
Generation, engine, mileage and condition set the number. We sell into the same trade network that takes our Toyota hybrids and saloons, and the IS 300h shares its hybrid family with them, so we price it from real demand rather than a generalist guess. Submit your reg for a firm offer within two hours that holds for at least 72 hours.
Yes. Trade and export demand for older diesels remains real even where clean-air zones have softened domestic appetite, and we price the demand that actually exists. Honest condition and a paper trail of servicing do the work.
Yes. The IS F is a different car with its own following and is priced on its own merits, not as an ordinary IS. Tell us the history and any modifications.
The checks are the same, because the hybrid system is the same family: battery health, service history, honest condition. The price is not a Toyota price. The IS is a rear-drive Lexus saloon with its own trade demand, and we value it as one.
